Our Proven Four Step Process

Day 0

Acclimation

All incoming fish are acclimated to our system’s temperature and salinity to prevent shock and reduce stress.
We monitor swim behavior and respiration closely while keeping the environment calm to properly aid recovery.

Days 1-15

Parasite Treatment

Next, the fish are given a controlled chelated copper treatment held at a minimum of 2.5ppm for 14 days.
We test copper levels daily to maintain therapeutic levels and ensure safe, effective parasite treatment throughout.

Days 1-15

Further Treatment

Each fish is treated with 2x doses of praziquantel and 5x doses of metronidazole to eliminate flukes and internal issues.
This ensures that issues are fully addressed before shipping. We make sure that they're ready to thrive in your tank.

Days 15-28

Observation

Finally, fish enter a 14-day minimum observation period where appetite and overall condition are monitored.
We ensure consistent eating, normal activity, and no signs of delayed illness before clearing them for shipment.

If a fish does not tolerate the standard process, we adjust treatment and use alternative methods to ensure recovery while still eliminating underlying issues.
